Born in the North of England, i left in 1975 at the age of 21 and headed for Australia where I have been based ever sinse. From my base in Australia i travelled and worked throughout Asia and Europe.
After over 20 years in engineering management and sales, and at that time holding the position of Managing director, I began to look for a course that would give me some education in psychology and counselling to help me manage my staff more efficiently. I was pointed to the Academy of Hypnotic Science in Melbourne by a friend and this lead to a change in direction.
After gaining my qualifications I opened a clinic in Dandenong and have been in full time practice for four years. I love this work.

Stephen Gruber MA w...Just wanted to say welcome to the network. Couldn't help noticing some parallels in our paths. I left UK at the end of '74 at the same age as you went to Australia. Ended up the President of a successful international management consulting firm but then, a few years ago, decided to return to an old interest and passion - Hypnosis. Since then I "retired" from the corporate world to establish a full time practice at the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex here in Montreal. A great move at the right time.
